Our co-founders are Stanford-trained psychologists (with 20+ combined YOE and featured in Harvard Business Review, New York Times, and National Academy of Sciences) and ex-Google serial entrepreneur. We're at the pre-seed stage with 2 full-stack engineers and are looking for an AI/ML engineer (as a co-founder/tech lead, founding engineer, or research intern). Our products are grounded in rigorous scientific research, and we collaborate with a top-notch scientific advisory board to create new knowledge and an engaging product for meaningful societal impact.

About this Position:

We are looking for a talented AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and integration of cutting-edge AI-driven applications and novel techniques into our product, and you will be leading/collaborating with our development team to build version 3.0 of the full-stack architecture. As a key member of our team, you will shape the future of personalized mental health technology and make a real impact on human flourishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with our scientists, scientific advisors, and UI/UX designer to design and implement ML/NLP/LLM algorithms.

• Collaborate closely with other software engineers to integrate AI features seamlessly into our web/mobile app.

• Optimize and improve existing AI components, ensuring high performance and reliability.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLM and contribute to the technical strategy of the company.

• Actively participate in problem-solving, brainstorming, and creative thinking to drive innovation in the mental well-being space.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. PhD is a plus.

• Experience with generative AI, especially LLMs, and product apps strongly preferred

• Strong programming skills in Python.

• Experience in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.

• Proficiency with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• A passion for mental well-being technology and a desire to make a positive impact.

• Prior industry experience building scalable products in adjacent space is a big plus.
